Virginia Service Foundation
The Virginia Service Foundation supports the activities of the Governor’s Advisory Board on Volunteerism and National Service in its role to promote volunteerism and national service. The purpose of the Foundation is to promote volunteer involvement, civic engagement, and citizen participation in programs to serve the needs of the Commonwealth of Virginia and its communities.
The Virginia Service Foundation will sponsor the following activities in 2012.
- 2012 Governor's Awards for Volunteerism and Service Awards Ceremony - April 2012
- Virginia Conference on Volunteerism and Service - June 15, 2012 with opening reception on June 14
