Persons With Disabilities in AmeriCorps
Take a few minutes to meet Willie, Sarah, Colin, and Mark. All four serve in AmeriCorps, the nation's "domestic Peace Corps". Willie serves senior citizens; Sarah mentors children for Head Start; Colin renovates homes for low-income individuals; and Mark constructs wheelchair ramps for local residents. Listen to their stories as they explain the reasons they serve and the contributions they make to their communities. All four volunteers are persons with disabilities and all four make a difference.
