Do You Need Resources? AmeriCorps Could be the Solution.

The Office on Volunteerism and Community Service (OVCS) has prepared for the 2013-2014 AmeriCorps Program Year and on January 11, 2013, OVCS published the AmeriCorps*State Request for Proposals (RFP). Applications will be due on March 7 by 3:00pm EDT.  Between the publication date and the due date, OVCS will host an optional grant pre-proposal webinar for prospective applicants. Virginia-based public and nonprofit organizations, including faith-based and community organizations, higher education institutions, and public agencies, are eligible to apply. AmeriCorps grants assist groups in recruiting, training and placing individuals, as AmeriCorps members, to meet critical community and human needs. Is your organization right for AmeriCorps? Launch the "Interactive AmeriCorps Program Selector for Organizations."
