Getty Foundation Museum Conservation Grants

Description: The Getty Foundation supports a diverse range of projects worldwide that strengthen the understanding and conservation of the visual arts. The Foundation’s Museum Conservation Grants are designed to assist institutions in caring for their permanent collections through two distinct initiatives. Survey Grants help museums identify the conservation requirements of art collections. Treatment Grants support the conservation treatment of artwork of outstanding artistic significance. Grants are provided in the United States and internationally to museums and other nonprofit institutions. Preliminary letters of inquiry may be submitted at any time.
