Adolescent Family Life: Demonstration Projects
Adolescent Family Life: Demonstration Projects Public (e.g., city, county, regional, and state government) organizations and private, nonprofit organizations. Grants are used to establish innovative, comprehensive, and integrated approaches to the delivery of care services for pregnant and parenting adolescents with primary emphasis on adolescents who are under 17 years of age. Funding (Range of Award: $250,000 - $375,000) Open Eligibility.

Dorothea Haus Ross Foundation
SUMMARY: The foundation supports organizations that work to improve Children’s well‐being including: Social services – basic food and shelter needs; Health care – disabilities, injuries and disfigurement; Environment – effects of natural disasters; and Education – access and learning disabilities.
Most grants are onetime awards. The foundation makes grants for emergency funds, equipment
and supplies, building purchases and startup expenses.

Aetna Foundation announces funds to support obesity prevention and health literacy. The Opportunity of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) for Afterschool Program
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 offers several opportunities for afterschool providers to support their programs in a time of economic crisis. The six funding sources highlighted in this document were selected based on their applicability to afterschool programs and their relevance to funding a variety of out-of-school time services. Charitable Venture Foundation (CVF)
CVF works to address the problems of society and education through innovative and entrepreneurial means that emphasize individual responsibility. In order to achieve this goal, CVF awards grants, loans, and technical assistance to legally incorporated, IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organizations for a broad range of projects and programs. Letters of inquiry are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Formal proposals are accepted three times per year.
