Virginia Volunteerism Conference
Register Now! The 2012 Virginia Conference on Volunteerism and Community Service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Westin Hotel at Reynolds Crossing in Richmond, VA. In addition, there will be a complimentary, pre-conference "Welcome and Networking Reception" at the Westin on Thursday, June 14 from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Workshops will include information on:
- Volunteer Management
- Grant Writing and Management
- Mentoring for Success
- Outreach and Involvement of Special Populations
- Best Practices in Risk Management

You will need to make note of the the workshops you wish to attend (i.e. A-1, B-2, C-3 ; see either schedule above) before REGISTERING HERE.
The cost for the conference is $75 per person and includes the welcome reception on June 14, continental breakfast and lunch on June 15. The deadline for conference registration is June 7.
The discounted group room rate is $83 plus taxes and fees. Hotel reservations must be made prior to May 23. Rooms are available at the state government rate for June 13, 14 and 15, 2012.
