Symposium on Boomer Engagement: The Future Wave of Volunteerism
Overview
A new wave of Boomer volunteers is headed our way. The number of volunteers age 65 and older will increase more than 50 percent over the next decade. "Symposium on Boomer Engagement: The Future Wave of Volunteerism" will explore key issues in tapping into this market:
- What are the goals of Richmond region Boomers?
- How can local organizations prepare to engage this generation of volunteers?
- What are the implications for how your program currently utilizes volunteers?
- What are some practical tools and strategies for attracting, inspiring and retaining Boomer's skills, expertise and time?
- How might this wave help address needs during these tough economic times?
